Shawn Thornton and Daniel Paille were officially ruled out for tomorrow night's game at Montreal. Neither one made the trip to Montreal today. This means that Jamie Tardif and Lane MacDermid will likely play another game on the fourth line with Gregory Campbell.

It is still unclear if Brad Marchand will play after missing the entire third period of Saturday's game at Toronto. Marchand was scheduled to practice with the team today.

"He might be a game-time decision," Claude Julien said. "He's going to practice with us today and then we'll make a decision probably tomorrow on his situation."

If Marchand can't go, Ryan Spooner will make his NHL debut. Spooner was called up from Providence on Monday.
