Dougie Hamilton is going back to the World Juniors Championship for the second straight year. But this time he will be joined by two other Bruins prospects. Malcolm Subban and Anthony Camara are making their first appearance at the World Juniors for Team Canada.
Hamilton has 41 points (eight goals, 33 assists) in 32 games for the Niagara Ice Dogs this season. At the 2012 World Juniors, Hamilton was a point per game player with six points (two goals, four assists) in six games.
Subban is one of three goalies on the roster and will have to really earn the starting role. Subban is 15-7-3 this season for the Belleville Bulls this season. He also sports a 2.17 goals against average and a .932 save percentage.
Camara may be the surprise of the Team Canada. Camara has exploded this season with 40 points (22 goals and 18 assists) in 30 games this season. The 22 goals are just eight less than he scored in the previous three seasons combined.
